| Tsunami Project, Alappad kalatheeram 2007 The Tsunami hit area of Alappad was identified for relief and rehabilitation work by us. Our team visited this area and led the relief works. The Malankara Syrian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America entrusted with us their project to support the victims of tsunami with a promised amount of US$ 40,000. The first instalment was spent during 2006. We spent this amount to work among the mentally challenged individuals of that area and for the aged deprieved persons there. We conducted several seminars to support the community to overcome the mental trauma. The second instalment of US$ 10,000 is expected this year. | |
